  1. I purchased the model 2000 stove to put in my 1953 camper for an upcoming hunting trip in Wyoming. For the price I wasn’t expecting much. Boy was I blown away! The quality of the product is very good and it worked perfectly. We were warm and toasty throughout our 10 day hunt and the stove was very efficient on propane. Thank you my neighbors to the North for building a quality product for a great price!

  2. how large is your camper…I am looking at heating a 12ft by 6 ft ice shanty…will the 2000 stove do?

  3. I was recommended this blog by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my trouble. You’re wonderful! Thanks!

  4. As a “Prepper”, I am considering the small propane unit to heat one room in our house in the event SHTF. My “better half” and I are preparing to be “off the grid” for up to a year and propane cooking and heat will accomplish our objective without sending up a smoke signal to the hungry zombies roaming the neighborhood.

  5. Charlie,

The camper is an old 16′ hardside pull behind. I’m sure the insulation is not the greatest in it but the stove only needed to be used on the lowest settings and we were toasty warm. I’m sure it would work great in a 12′X6′ shanty.

  6. John,
Just wanted to let you know that the stove worked great. I was unsure if the stove would work at 10,00 feet of elevation. We were Elk hunting in Colorado and heating A 14X16 wall tent. The stove kept the tent perfect for sleeping in a heavy sleeping bag. the best part was not fighting a wood stove all night long. we would light the stove before we went to bed and was able to sleep all night long without interuption. we could go 3 nights on a 20 propane cylinder. We purchased a co monitor for the tent and it never went off once. This is the perfect vented stove for a wall tent. It worked great! Thanks, Sean

  7. bought the 4000 model (26000 btu)
bought this for elk hunting in colorado tried it out before the hunt the temp outside was 23 degree’s F and inside was 36 degree’s F. it will be colder during hunting season, not warm enough for us. I bought two of them for two tents. they are a great quality stove just not for a wall tent.

  8. I purchased a model 2000 stove and a 965 stove online this past fall to place in two different deer blinds for the upcoming firearm Deer Season. I wanted to compare the two to see which I would prefer for additional blinds. Both stoves performed GREAT! They both have there merits (propane vs wood) the nice thing about the wood stove is no propane tanks to fill and haul, but the propane provides a nice even heat, and once lit it does not have to be tended. In either event these stoves are WELL made, the care and craftsmanship is evidnet. I will be purchasing more of these stoves in the near future!
    Thanks
